Brand and model names of vacuum cleaners are given for reference only, the Bag Lady is not associated with any vacuum cleaner manufacturer, and wouldn't want to be!
It's a sad fact that there exist in the world today literally thousands of different types of vacuum cleaner bags. What a joke! Why can't vacuum cleaner manufacturers settle on a few standards? The reason is to force us consumers to buy only their replacement bags (as no others will fit) producing thousands of bags, and a nightmare for the rest of us. But why should they care if we waste days looking for the one we need?
Life is complicated enough already, so I aim to make your 'on-line experience'as pain free as possible. I try to provide a place where you can buy bags for any vacuum cleaner in the UK. If I don't have the one you want, I will try to find it, not just for you, but for the next customer who may need it.

Credit Card Security Would you trust an old Baglady with your credit card details? I thought not!! That's why I leave all credit card processing to the experts at WorldPay. These guys have been in the business since before the rest of us even knew the internet existed.
After they accept payment on my behalf, they won't even tell me what your credit card number is, and your credit card details are not held in clear text on any web site.
Privacy Policy I won't pass on any details about you. This data is not for sale, not ever and not to anyone. You don't even need to check a box. I won't send you emails that are unrelated to your order, and when your order has been completed you won't hear from me again. No advertising mail shots. No chances to win a trip to Florida. No ingenious suggestions for making a fortune on the internet or 'enhancing' any part of your anatomy.
Seriously though, I may be guilty of making a virtue of a neccessity: it is against EU law for me to pass on any details about you. Furthermore, by law, if you ask me to I must remove all your personal details (including your email address) from my database. In other (less civilised?!) parts of the world these laws do not exist.
Delivery Charges I don't charge you anything for 'handling' and, unlike many other sites on the web, I charge you only what it costs to mail the goods to you.
Within the UK choose between first class and second class mail.
Outside the UK choose between airmail and surface mail.
Delivery Times I post out your order right away. Within the UK you can expect to receive your order in one or two days. Airmail within Europe can take up to a week, and if you've requested surface mail to somewhere a long way from the UK, sorry, but it has been known to take up to 3 months!
Back Orders I rarely have to, but if your item is not in stock, I will back order for you. You will be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait, in which case I will refund the order immediately.
Tax Charges VAT is automatically calculated based upon where the order is being sent to.
Orders sent outside the European Union or to the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man are VAT free.
Orders sent to within the UK or elsewhere within the European Union are charged 17.5% VAT.
Note: I am required by law to charge VAT on postage.
